- Renowned Author and Journalist Khushwant Singh died at the age of 99 on 20th March 2014.
- He was very well known for his witty, fearless writings. Mr Khushwant Singh was born on 2nd Feb, 1915, in Hadali [Now in Pakistan].
- He was confered with Padma Bhushan [1974] and Padma Vibhushan [2007] by government of India.
- His autobiography, "Truth, Love and a Little Malice", was published by Penguin Books in 2002.
- Few of his writings are "Train to Pakistan", "I Shall Not Hear the Nightingale" and "Delhi - A Novel".
- At the age of 95 he wrote The Sunset Club.
