Khushwant Singh, renowned author and journalist, dies at 99

This tribute was penned by Pramod Kapoor, one of first earliest publishers of Khushwant Singh.
  • Renowned Author and Journalist Khushwant Singh died at the age of 99 on 20th March 2014. 
  • He was very well known for his witty, fearless writings. Mr Khushwant Singh was born on 2nd Feb, 1915, in Hadali [Now in Pakistan]. 
  • He was confered with Padma Bhushan [1974] and Padma Vibhushan [2007] by government of India.
  • His autobiography, "Truth, Love and a Little Malice", was published by Penguin Books in 2002.
  • Few of his writings are "Train to Pakistan", "I Shall Not Hear the Nightingale" and "Delhi - A Novel". 
  • At the age of 95 he wrote The Sunset Club
