Compound women team of Gagandeep Kaur, V Jyothi Surekha and P Lily Chanu defeated Iran in the final team event and took the first gold for the country.
- In the ongoing 1st Asian Grand Prix Archery Championships at Bangkok Indian archers clinched 2 gold and 1 silver medals in the team events on 13th March 2014.
- The women compound team included Gagandeep Kaur, V Jyothi Surekha and P Lily Chanu won gold.
- In the Men’s Recurve, the team of Jayanta Talukdar, Tarundeep Rai and Kapil won gold.
- Indian team of Abhishek Verma, Sandeep Kumar and Rajat Chouhan won silver in the Men’s compound section.
Note :
- 1st Asian Archery Grand Prix 2014 (World Ranking) is being organised in Bangkok from 10 March to 16 March 2014.
- The event has been organised following the World Archery Rules for 2012 in both divisions Recurve and Compound.
