Pak SC annuls New Law Protecting the Prime Minister
Supreme Court of Pakistan annulled the new Contempt of Court Act 2012(COCA 2012) which was brought in to protect the new prime minister from being charged with contempt and removed from his office like his predecessor Yousuf Rza Gilani.
Previous PM Yousuf Raza Gilani was ousted from the office on the charges of contempt of court as he failed to restart corruption investigation against President Asif Zardari.
