On 12th Aug, Wrestler Sushil Kumar
won silver medal in the men's 66kg freestyle wrestling event
after being outclassed by Japanese Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu 3—1 in the gold
medal bout and became the first individual athlete from India to win
back-to-back medals at the Olympics. With Sushil’s silver, India ended its
London Games campaign with six medals.
