Dr Tej Vir Singh wins UNWTO Ulysses Prize 2013

Dr. Tej Vir Singh has bagged the 2013 UNWTO Ulysses Prize for Excellence in the Creation and Dissemination of Knowledge. The UNWTO Ulysses Prize honors those who contribute significantly to the development of tourism education and research.
About Him
  • He is the founder director of 'Centre for Tourism Research & Development' (CTRD)- an NGO devoted to the cause of tourism academics and research.
  • He is also the founding editor of Asia's oldest tourism journal 'Tourism Recreation Research'. 
  • He, an author of numerous books and research papers on tourism development and its impacts, is considered to be a specialist in Himalayan tourism.
