- Delhi Waveriders on 23 February 2014 emerged as the champions of the Hero Hockey India League 2014.
- Delhi Waveriders defeated Jaypee Punjab Warriors at Astroturf Hocket Stadium in Ranchi.
- In the final match of the tournament, Delhi scored 3-1 against Punjab in the shoot-out after the regulation 70 minutes game ended in a 3-3 tie.

Delhi Waveriders was captained by Sardar Singh.
