Bhartiya Mahila Bank signed three Pacts with New India Assurance
Bharatiya Mahila Bank (BMB) signed Pact with New India Assurance Company on 21st February 2014. The pact aims to deliver three unique innovative health insurance policies for women account holders of the bank. Name of the policies are  
  • BMB-Sakhee 
  • BMB-Nirbhaya 
  • BMB-Parivar Suraksha
The BMB-Sakhee aimed at rural women and those in the unorganised sector. It will offer a cover up to 50000 rupees a year.
The BMB-Nirbhaya scheme aimed particularly for working women. It offer cover limit up to 5 lakh rupees. It will include insurance for accidental situations unique to women.
The BMB-Parivar Suraksha aimed to cover the family of the woman account holder of the bank. 
The policies will provide customised health insurance package for women. This was the first launch of women centric insurance policies.
